System Status and Connection Health Check Tool
If you are having issues with the Passtab iPad / iPad App you can run a health check at the device to isolate the issue.
You will need to be running the Passtab iPad App that version 1.5.9 or higher.
Click the button “online” in the bottom left hand corner of the Passtab iPad App sign in/out home screen
As seen below:

Tap, “test connection to internet”. As seen below.
If this fails, the issue is with the iPad not being connected to the internet. Please connect the iPad to the internet.

Tap “Test connection to Passtab server”. As seen below.
If this fails, the issue is your network not allowing Passtab to operate in your environment. Likely a firewall or requirement for network re-authentication (asking you to login to the network again).

Tap “Check system status”. As seen below.
If the two first checks pass and you are still having issues, this will give you a live report of the Passtab system status and it’s third party connections (like Working With Children Check).
